A little about me...
Hello my name is Aquila Walters. I am originally form Southern California. I am a creative turned self taught Cake Artist! How did I get into cakes you ask? Well a little over 13 years ago I started experimenting with making my own cakes after watching one of my favorite tv shows "Aces of Cakes". Duff Goldman, the star of the show was the light to the cake art journey.
Humble beginnings
One of the first people who trusted me enough to create a custom cake was my Husbands Auntie Monica. (Thank you Auntie Monica for ordering one of my first cakes. I had to dig deep to find the actual picture of the cake. So here it is... Not bad right?)
Awesome opportunities
Along the way I was given the opportunity to do a cake for the Famous Kevin Hart. This is the cake I created for his son Hendrix back in 2013. ( Thank you to my good friend MiMi Quaye who connected me to this opportunity)
